Head Instructor

Blake Todd is a chuden level practioner in Kenjutsu and Jissen Goshinjutsu, at Texas Komei Juku, formerly named Katsujin Ryu Budokai dojo under Walt Bushey sensei. He also practices Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu, which is the art of wielding the Japanese sword from a draw (under Walt Bushey and Sekiguchi Komei Sensei), Naginatajutsu, the art of the Japanese polearm, and Tantojutsu, the art of the Japanese dagger, and Tameshigiri, the act of test-cutting with weaponry.

Blake has been licensed to teach Shoden Kenjutsu and Jissen Goshinjutsu for nearly a year, and will also be very glad to answer any questions you might have concerning swordsmanship, or the history of the Samurai to the best of his ability.
