The Texas Komei Juku Dojo
The Texas Komei Juku Dojo is the head branch for Komei Juku Iaijutsu in Texas, and is located in Lubbock. Several other forms of martial arts are instructed here by Walt Bushey Sensei, including Karate, Bujutsu (Kenjutsu, Jissen Goshinjutsu, etc.) and Kickboxing.
Walt Bushey Sensei: Instructor
Walt Bushey has been a practitioner of several martial arts for 20+ years, and now is the head instructor at the Texas Komei Juku (Formerly Katsujin Ryu Budokai) dojo. His experience ranges from Karate, Bujutsu, Kickboxing, and more. Bushey has also been given the title as the official shibucho (branch head) for Komei Juku of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu by the 21st head Ryuha of Japan, Sekiguchi Komei Sensei. Sekiguchi Sensei and Bushey Sensei have been in contact for several years and Sekiguchi Komei Sensei routinely comes to teach the students at the Komei Juku dojo at least once a year.
